DronePort:MK will establishment a new Concept of Operations that enables drones to fly in shared airspace in an open city environment. The project will establish the role of the City authorities in licensing 3rd party operators to provide drone-based services across the city and implement new technologies to enable drone-based services to operate safely and securely within the city.

We will demonstrate these approaches through the provision of new drone-based services, including undertaking medical deliveries between Milton Keynes University Hospital and Willen Hospice and Asset and Infrastructure Surveys on behalf of Milton Keynes City Council Highways Department.
